Planted on hillside vineyards in Santa Rita Hills a few miles from the Pacific Ocean, this Pinot Noir was produced in open top fermentors with manual punch downs and co-fermented from two premium, Dijon clones 115 and 777. Deep, rich qualities reflect the unique characteristics of this cool climate growing region. Generous flavors of ripe cherries, sweet yams, vanilla and bright acidity dominate this food friendly wine. Unfiltered. Gary A. Luchtel, Winemaker. 500 cases produced.
