Fans of the old-school, brambly style of Zinfandel will enjoy this sleek and supple wine.  Produced from 80 year old vines, and dry farmed, this rich supple wine is dense and spicy with a long finish.  Flavor characteristics of blackberry and plum with dense, rich tones of tasty spices linger on the long finish.  Balanced acidity with intriguing hints of herbs promises to pair well with grilled and sicey meals.  Decant and drink now or cellar for a few years.
